Lesson Info

For piano lessons, I teach beginners through intermediate-level students.  I will accept students as young as first-graders, provided they have some reading proficiency.  I prefer to use the Faber Piano Adventure method books, although I am willing to use other methods (Alfred, Bastien, etc.)

For voice lessons, I will accept students starting in their 6th grade year.  I'm happy to assist students in whatever genre they prefer - classical, folk, musical theater, worship, etc.

Lessons for beginners last 30 minutes and cost $20 per session.  For more advanced students, longer lessons can be arranged on a case-by-case basis.  Lesson pricing is subject to change, and I will notify you well in advance of any changes.

My piano studio will present two recitals per year - once at Christmas and once in the late spring/early summer.  These recitals are typically held at a local church and provide a low-pressure opportunity for your students to share their talent with family and friends.

I am happy to help voice students prepare for adjudicated festivals, through technical exercises, rote learning, sightreading, and repertoire selection.  I am always eager to assist students in finding additional performance opportunities (local churches, senior centers, civic theater, etc.)
